Taylor Swift‘s new album Folklore remains at #1 for the second week in a row on the Billboard 200 albums chart. After debuting last week with the biggest overall week in 2020 (846,000 units), Folklore adds another 135,000 equivalent album units to its total.
At #2 is the late rapper Pop Smoke with Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon followed by the posthumous release from Juice WRLD, Legends Never Die, at #3. The Broadway cast recording of Hamilton moves up to #4, followed by Lil Baby‘s My Turn at #5.
Da Baby lands at #6, with Harry Styles‘ Fine Line album climbing to #7. Gunna is at #8 and Post Malone lands at #9. The Top 10 is rounded out by Beyoncé‘s The Lion King: The Gift. Released last summer in conjunction with Disney‘s remake of The Lion King, it climbs back up the chart thanks to Beyoncé’s new film Black is King, which was released July 31 on Disney+ and based off the music from The Gift. The Lion King: The Gift also benefits from being re-issued with three additional new tracks.
