Valerie Segraves
Press Communications Classic Rock WWZY/WBHX (107.1 The Boss) welcomes Valerie Segraves as its new morning news anchor and reporter for the station’s “Robby and Rochelle in the Morning” beginning April 22nd.
Segraves is no stranger to the market having spent several years with Z100 as a part of the Z Morning Zoo and with Elvis Duran, then afternoon host. Additionally, she was heard on 1010 WINS and various outlets as an anchor for Shadow Traffic including on camera reports for WWOR-TV.
Segraves also spent time at CNN Radio, The Weather Channel and most recently on mornings at WEJZ Jacksonville, FL. She’s also had a successful commercial voice over business.
“My favorite thing about the shore, hands down, is the Boardwalk. And Springers Ice Cream! After all the summer rentals I had over the years, I’m so excited to be coming back. The Jersey Shore never leaves you, no matter where you may find yourself. Being on in the mornings with Robby and Rochelle feels like coming home.” Segraves said of the position.
“Valerie is a world class talent and will be a really great addition to our team in the morning on The Boss.” said Robby Bridges, VP of Programming. Segraves will also anchor morning reports for sister WHTG (The Breeze 1410AM and 100.7 FM) and a noon report for The Boss.
