Young Thug earned the third #1 album of his career with Punk, which debuted atop the Billboard 200 with 90,000 equivalent album units. The rapper hit #1 earlier this year with the Slime Language 2 collection and his own So Much Fun in 2019. Punk features a lengthy list of contributors throughout, including Drake, Doja Cat, Post Malone, Travis Scott and many more.
At #2 is the aforementioned Drake with Certified Lover Boy, followed by Faces, a mixtape by the late Mac Miller, at #3. According to Billboard, Faces was put out for free back in 2014 but never had a commercial release until now. Much of its units came from vinyl LPs, which sold 32,000 copies.
Debuting at #4 is Coldplay‘s newest album, Music of the Spheres, with 57,000 equivalent album units. It is the veteran British band’s eighth Top 10 release. Their most recent, 2019’s Everyday Life, debuted at #7.
Thanks to a new deluxe re-release, The Beatles‘ Let It Be comes in at #5 on the Billboard 200 this week. The new special edition was released in a variety of formats and expanded editions. Billboard combines all versions of the album in calculating its chart position.
YoungBoy Never Broke Again is at #6, with Doja Cat at #7, Morgan Wallen at #8, Olivia Rodrigo at #9 and Lil Nas X rounding the Top 10 out.
