The Atlanta Braves have partnered with Cumulus Rock station WNNX (Rock 100.5)/Atlanta in a multi-year agreement for the station to become the team’s new FM home. The game broadcasts began immediately on Thursday against the Philadelphia Phillies. Rock 100.5 replaces News/Talk WYAY as the FM simulcast of the Braves, as WYAY is in the process of being sold to Educational Media Foundation (EMF). The Braves were heard on Rock 100.5 from 2010-2013.
“Cumulus has been a great partner for the Braves radio network over the years and we are looking forward to having our games back on Rock 100.5,” said Derek Schiller, Atlanta Braves President/CEO. “Rock 100.5 gives us a fantastic opportunity to bring the excitement of this young Braves baseball team to Atlanta’s favorite rock station.”
