The World Remembers Rush’s Neil Peart

Yesterday afternoon it was announced that Rush drummer/lyricist Neil Peart had passed away from brain cancer at the age of 67. Immediately tributes began pouring in on social media for the late musician:

Growing up in Canada, Rush was iconic. I had a 5 foot tall poster of them. They were wearing kimonos + looked kind of ugly but that was beside the point, it was something like patriotism that made me buy it. For Rush to be gone, it’s like the Canadian flag is gone. RIP Neil Peart
