The Weeknd‘s new album After Hours spends a second week atop the Billboard 200, while five new albums land in the top 10 of the chart. After Hours earned another 138,000 equivalent album units. Its totals may have been boosted with three new songs added digitally to a deluxe version of the album last Monday.
Australian pop-rock group 5 Seconds of Summer hit #2 with their latest album Calm. The album actually showed up on last week’s chart at #62, as Billboard reports a shipping error led to 11,000 CDs being sent out early from their concert ticket/album bundle for their upcoming tour, placing it on the Billboard 200 a week early.
The next debut comes from UK Pop artist Dua Lipa, whose new album Future Nostalgia arrives at #4, while Rock Hall of Famers Pearl Jam debut at #5 with Gigaton. It’s the band’s first release since 2013. The next top 10 debut is PartyNextDoor’s PartyMobile at #8, while the final top 10 is from rapper Joyner Lucas with ADHD at #10.
Rapper Lil Uzi Vert is at #3 with Eternal Atake while Lil Baby comes in at #6 with My Turn, followed by Bad Bunny at #7. Roddy Ricch‘s Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial lands at #9.
