The Weeknd was the big winner at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, walking away Sunday night with a total of 10 trophies. He was the most-nominated artist as well. The Weeknd’s wins included Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist and Top Radio Songs Artist.

K-Pop superstars BTS also came up big at the Billboard Music Awards, winning in every category they were nominated in. BTS won for Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Selling Song (“Dynamite”) and Top Social Artist. BTS also performed their newest single “Butter.” The late rapper Pop Smoke won five BBMAs and Bad Bunny won four BBMAs, all in the Latin categories.

Taylor Swift won for Top Female Artist and Top Billboard 200 Artist

Pink was honored with the Icon Award, signing a medley of her hits culminating in an aerial performance of her new song “Cover Me in Sunshine” alongside her daughter Willow. Drake was given Artist of the Decade.

Other notable performers included Alicia Keys, celebrating the 20th anniversary of her debut album Songs in A Minor. Duran Duran played a medley of their hits while Glass Animals performed their current smash “Heat Waves.” The night was closed out by a medley from the Jonas Brothers, after Nick Jonas hosted the entire evening.
