The Weeknd is the top nominee for the 2022 Billboard Music Awards as a finalist in 17 categories, including Top Artist, Top Male Artist and Top Hot 100 Artist. His collaboration with Ariana Grande, “Save Your Tears” (Remix), is a finalist for six awards. Doja Cat is a finalist in the second-most categories, with 14 in total. Her nominations include Top Artist, Top Female Artist and Top Hot 100 Artist.
Justin Bieber, Kanye West and Olivia Rodrigo are finalists in 13 categories, followed by Drake with 11 nominations. Drake has won the second-most Billboard Music Awards ever, followed by Bieber in third place. Taylor Swift is the all-time BBMA winner.
Dua Lipa and Ed Sheeran each have nine nominations, while The Kid LAROI is up for eight awards. The aforementioned Taylor Swift, BTS and Givēon all have seven nominations.
