Entertainment marketing agency The Syndicate has announced that it has acquired digital and creative services company, Sneak Attack Media. The acquisition follows that of Tijuana Gift Shop, the PR firm obtained by The Syndicate in 2014. The addition of Sneak Attack builds out The Syndicate’s marketing department with a digital and social media arm, joining the publicity and radio departments as another pillar of the entertainment marketing agency.
Sneak Attack President Marni Wandner says, “I’ve always had so much respect for The Syndicate and I love the independent spirit we share. It’s such a perfect fit and we’re thrilled to become part of The Syndicate family.”
Wandner, now The Syndicate’s VP of Digital Marketing, folds in her existing team, overseeing Senior Manager of Digital Marketing, Kim Willams and digital marketing managers Josh Goldfeder and Peter Mishu.
Syndicate partner Jon Landman commented, “Marni has always been a trusted colleague and she’s built an amazing business over the past 12 years with Sneak Attack Media. The opportunity for us to bring Marni and her full team into The Syndicate is a real game changer for us, our clients and future partners.”
Marni continues, “Our goal is, and always has been, to help build our clients’ audiences in the most creative ways possible and being a part of The Syndicate will allow us to offer even more ways to do just that.”
Syndicate General Manager Graham Rothenberg adds, “We’ve admired Sneak Attack Media for such a long time. Their ethos perfectly aligns with ours. We’re extremely excited to grow our digital and social capabilities with Marni at the helm, providing our clients with an even more robust set of offerings.”
