The Rolling Stones have announced a 13-city tour of North American stadiums in the spring of 2019. The “No Filter” tour begins in Miami on April 20 and runs up to June 21 in Chicago.
“It’s a thrill when we play stadiums in the States,” Mick Jagger said in a statement, “the energy is always amazing!” Adds Keith Richards, “I’ve always loved playing the states. It’s a great crowd.”
The tour was announced on iHeartRadio stations nationwide this afternoon when WAXQ (Q104.3)/New York’s Jim Kerr interviewed Jagger and Richards.
“The Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World is coming back to America and we’re thrilled to be able to use iHeartMedia’s unparalleled national reach to give millions of Rolling Stones fans the first look at the U.S. leg of the Stones – No Filter tour,” said John Sykes, President of Entertainment Enterprises at iHeartMedia. “This band is legendary for their stadium tours and we are proud to be with them on every date next year.”. iHeartRadio will also launch a limited time “Rolling Stones – No Filter Radio” custom station available free to listeners exclusively on the iHeartRadio app on November 30.
