The CW Network has postponed its airing of the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Festival, scheduled for this Wednesday and Thursday reports Billboard. The two-night festival was taped on September 22 and 23 in Las Vegas near the site of the Route 91 Harvest country music festival on Las Vegas Boulevard.
iHeartMedia and the CW released a joint statement, announcing that the decision was collaborative: “Out of respect to the victims of last Sunday’s terrible tragedy in Las Vegas and their families, The CW Network and iHeartMedia will be postponing this week’s TV broadcast of the iHeartRadio Music Festival. New broadcast dates will be announced at a later time.”
The network was set to telecast both nights as part of its fall launch. The iHeart Radio Music Festival took place at T-Mobile Arena.
