International Women’s Day is March 8 and for the third year in a row, non-comm Triple A KCMP/Minneapolis (The Current) will celebrate by playing nothing but music fronted by musicians who identify as women and reached out to other stations to see if they are creating special content that day. In an email to other stations, The Current’s PD, Jim McGuinn invited those stations to get involved in celebrating the art, achievements, and contributions of women, with a way to track  and publicize their collective efforts.
