The Chainsmokers debut at #1 on this week’s Billboard 200 with their first full album Memories… Do Not Open. The hitmaking duo earned 221,000 equivalent album units, which Billboard notes in part was powered by a bundling of the album with tickets to their tour dates. The Chainsmokers released two EPs that charted in 2016.Drake is at #2 with More Life and Ed Sheeran‘s ÷ is at #3. Vocal group Pentatonix scores the second-highest debut of the week with PTX Vol. IV: Classics at #4. This gives them their seventh Top 10 record. Rapper Joey Bada$$ debuts at #5 with All-Amerikkkan Bada$$.
Bruno Mars is at #6, with the Manoa soundtrack at #7, Kodak Black at #8 and Future‘s self-titled release at #9. The top ten is rounded out with a fourth debut: singer-songwriter Father John Misty, whose new album Pure Comedy gives him his best sales week and charting week ever.
