Taylor Swift‘s hit album Midnights is at #1 once more on the Billboard 200 chart, spending its fourth non-consecutive week on top. According to Luminate‘s data, Midnights earned another 177,000 equivalent album units.
Coming in at #2 is Drake and 21 Savage‘s Her Loss for the second straight week, with Bad Bunny‘s Un Verano Sin Ti at #3, It’s Only Me from Lil Baby is at #4 and chart mainstay Morgan Wallen is at #5. The Weeknd‘s The Highlights comes in at #6.
The most notable chart story this week is Michael Jackson‘s iconic album Thriller climbing to #7 due to its 40th anniversary deluxe edition, with bonus tracks and different physical formats. Billboard notes that all versions of Thriller released over the years were added up for its 37,000 equivalent album units. Thriller was at #115 the week before.
Harry Styles takes the #8 spot on the Billboard 200 this week, with Rod Wave‘s newest release Jupiter’s Diary: 7 Day Theory debuting at #9. The top 10 is rounded out by an annual chart hit that returns to the upper echelon of the Billboard 200. Michael Bublé‘s Christmas climbs to #10 and will surely remain there for the rest of the year. Billboard notes that since 2011, Bublé’s Christmas has returned to the top 10 every year.
