Megan Thee Stallion served as host of the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards held at the UBS Arena in Long Island, NY.

Taylor Swift had a very BIG night taking home seven awards, including the night’s biggest Moonman, Video of the Year, for her collaboration featuring Post Malone, “Fortnight,” tying for her for most overall wins.

Some highlights of the night included Eminem kicking off the show with “Houdini” and “Somebody Save Me” featuring Jelly Roll who was prominently featured on video screens. “Houdini” won for Best Hip-Hop making Eminem the most solo male artist with (15) wins.

Katy Perry received the Video Vanguard Award, performing a medley of hits spanning her career: “Roar,” “E.T.,” “California Gurls,” “Teenage Dream,” “I Kissed a Girl,” “Firework,” and her latest single, “Lifetimes.”

LL Cool J celebrated 40 years of Def Jam Recordings with Public Enemy’s Flavor Flav and Chuck D and a medley of LL hits. The night also revisited and featured many memorable VMA moments from the past four decades of shows.
