For the fourth week in a row, Taylor Swift has the #1 album in the country, as Folklore remains atop the Billboard 200 chart. This makes Swift the first female artist to stay at #1 on the album chart for four straight weeks since Adele with 25 in the winter of 2015-2016. Folklore earned 101,000 equivalent album units during the week, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
Folklore received a boost over the past week due to a new deluxe version of the album digitally with a bonus track that was previously only on the physical version of the record. Swift also released new merchandise/album bundles on her website, while making headlines for surprising independent record stores around the country by shipping them autographed CD copies of Folklore.
Pop Smoke‘s Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon is at #2 this week, followed by Juice WRLD‘s Legends Never Die at #3. Rapper Young Dolph has the highest debut this week, with Rich Slave arriving at #4.
The original Broadway cast recording of Hamilton: An American Musical is in at #5, followed by Rod Wave’s Pray 4 Love at #6 and My Turn from Lil Baby at #7. The top 10 is rounded out by DaBaby‘s Blame It on Baby at #8, then Post Malone at #9 and Harry Styles at #10.
