SummitMedia announced today that Maurice DeVoe has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Programming.
His new focus will be overseeing and managing the programming strategy and operations for Summit’s Rhythmic Top 40, Urban, R&B, and Gospel stations. Key areas under his direction include innovations and trends, strategic planning, and content.
“I’m looking forward to expanding my role on the programming team as SVP while I continue to oversee our Rhythmic Top 40 and Urban Stations,” DeVoe said. “We have a lot of positive things happening in our company, and I’m very excited to be a part of it.”
DeVoe joined SummitMedia in late 2020 as Operations Manager for the company’s Greenville, South Carolina market, after stints with Cumulus Media in Kansas City and iHeart Media in St. Louis. The following year, he was elevated to Summit’s Brand Content Leader for Rhythmic Top 40, Urban, R&B, and Gospel.
