Ryan Seacrest

On Monday morning Kelly Ripa officially named her new co-host on Live with Kelly and it’s… Ryan Seacrest. The iHeartMedia star and Top 40 KIIS-FM/Los Angeles morning host joins the show which will now be known as Live with Kelly and Ryan.

Seacrest replaces Michael Strahan, who left as co-host a year ago to go to Good Morning America.

Seacrest took to twitter to tweet his excitement: “So excited to join this show!! @KellyRipa crushes every morning… one of my favorite people ever #livekellyryan”

Ryan has moved to New York, but early word is that Seacrest is still committed to his many other jobs including hosting red carpets for E! and his radio shows, On Air with Ryan Seacrest and American Top 40.
