Sun Broadcast Group has announced that Rich O’Brien has been promoted to Chief Development Officer. O’Brien, who has been with the company for two years, had been Vice President of Programming and Affiliate Relations. The announcement was made by Warren Friedland, President of Sun Broadcast Group.

With this appointment, Rich will oversee all our programming and affiliations, working closely with our producers,” said Friedland. “Rich is highly respected, and has tremendous experience in developing and growing quality, compelling, and impactful programs and services to be used by radio stations in all size markets. Prior to joining Sun Broadcast Group in October of 2018, O’Brien spent 25 years at Access.1 Communications, where he had been EVP of Programming and Affiliate Relations, after being promoted from SVP of Programming and Promotions.
