As part of the restructure of BMG’s U.S. labels, both the RCA Music Group and the newly formed Zomba Label Group are reshuffling their promotion departments, integrating some former Arista Records staffers. FMQB reported many of the changes yesterday. Now comes word of additional moves within the Zomba Label Group: Jive Records VP/Top 40 Denise George is being upped to VP/Promotion & Field Operations, Jessie Maldonado is named Assistant Director of Promotion, and Southeast Regional rep Allyson Levy will now handle Boston.

Over at RCA Music Group, Executive VP Richard Palmese has made some new appointments. Arista VP/Adult Promotion Etoile Zisselman will now work alongside RCA Music Group VP/Adult Promotion Adrian Moreira. Dave Dyer joins as Northeast Regional rep, based in New York. Vance Cobb moves from New York to Atlanta as Southeast Regional rep. Ray Vaughn moves from Atlanta to Dallas as Southwest Regional/National Top 40 Promotion Manager. And Wendy Goodman moves from Dallas to L.A. as Director/National AC Promotion.

Unfortunately, the BMG restructuring means many Arista layoffs. Among the talented people now looking for new opportunities are: Arista Executive VP Steve Bartels (sbartelsny@aol.com); VP/Promotion Jeff Backer (954.341.4852); VP/Operations Chrissie Lindsey (917.853.6920); National Director/Promotion Denise Lutz (630.640.5997); West Coast Director/National Promotion Lori Rischer (917. 854.4094); Promotion Assistants Katies Stars (201.779.8026, katiestars@aol.com) and Nicole Hurst (212.920.7526, nicolehurst@hotmail.com); L.A. rep Mike Chester (323.383.7674, mikechester326@aol.com); Kansas City rep Chad Coleman (816.522.3630, seedycoleman@aol.com); Florida rep Deidre Poyner (954.205.5909, dpoyner2@aol.com); and  Seattle rep Holly McCormack (773.255.8912, hgmsnoopy@juno.com).
