Demi Lovato
TMZ is reporting that Demi Lovato was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital after suffering what appeared to be a overdose.
Lovato has had a well documented fight against substance abuse for years including time in a treatment center.
A month ago she released a song called, “Sober” where she indicated she may have relapsed.
She had been six years sober from alcohol, cocaine and Oxycontin.
The pop singer is scheduled to perform a concert on the beach in Atlantic City, NJ on Thursday. It was being billed as her only east coast show of the summer.
A source close to Lovato tells PEOPLE that she is now “stable.”
