Foo Fighters had already been announced as the headliners for the 2018 Welcome to Rockville festival in Jacksonville, FL but now the entire lineup has been revealed. Friday’s lineup is topped by Ozzy Osbourne, Godsmack and Five Finger Death Punch. Saturday is led by Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour and Breaking Benjamin. The Foos will close out the weekend with their friends Queens of the Stone Age as well as Billy Idol on board. Welcome to Rockville runs April 27-28.
Ozzy Osbourne has announced a “farewell tour,” which kicks off in 2018 but is expected to last in 2020. “People keep asking me when I’m retiring,” Ozzy says. “This will be my final world tour, but I can’t say I won’t do some shows here and there.” The Rock icon has announced a number of dates in Mexico, South America and Europe already in the spring and summer of next year, as well as his slot at the aforementioned Welcome to Rockville festival.
Pharrell Williams’ band N*E*R*D is back with their first album since 2010. While the record, titled No_One Ever Really Dies, has no release date yet, its tentative track list was released and features contributions from Rihanna, Future, Andre 3000, Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar, M.I.A., Gucci Mane and Wale.
