The Grammy Awards are returning to New York City for the first time in 15 years in 2018. The awards show will be held at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, January 28 and as always, air on CBS. “While we’re best known for Music’s Biggest Night, we serve the music community year-round, and a large part of that community is alive and thriving in New York City and on the East Coast,” said Recording Academy President/CEO Neil Portnow. “As a native New Yorker and lifelong supporter of the city’s vibrant arts scene, I couldn’t be more excited to return in 2018 and celebrate 60 years of honoring the best of the best in recorded sound in the world-class venue that is Madison Square Garden.”

Imagine Dragons revealed today that their third album is titled Evolve and will be out June 9. Not only did the group release a new track today, titled “Whatever It Takes,” but they announced a fall tour of North America. The trek begins in Phoenix on September 26 and wraps up November 16 in Anaheim. Grouplove and K. Flay are on board as support acts.

In a video teaser released today, Calvin Harris announced a new album with an all-star lineup of collaborators. Titled Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, the record will feature appearances from Frank Ocean, Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Future, Nicki Minaj, John Legend, Big Sean, Migos, Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, Snoop Dogg and many, many others. Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 is due out June 30. Watch the full video below:

 

Harry Styles: Behind the Album is set to premiere only on Apple Music on Monday, May 15. It is a new film from production company Fulwell 73 that chronicles Harry’s musical journey while creating his much anticipated debut solo album. The film features exclusive interviews and behind the scenes footage shot in Jamaica, Los Angeles and London during the making of the album and is complemented by Harry and his band performing songs from it for the first time at the world famous Abbey Road Studios in London.

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Katy Perry spilled some more information about her upcoming album.  “It’s really quite brave,” says the Pop star. “Sonically, it’s fun and dance-y and dark and light. It’s all of these things. It definitely is a change.” In addition to the already released “Chained to the Rhythm” and “Bon Appetit,” the new record features songs titled “Swish Swish” and “Bigger Than Me,” which Perry says was inspired by the 2016 election. She adds that the new material also reflects her maturity, saying, “I left my 20s and I’ve gone to my 30s. I’ve embraced. I’ve surrendered. I’ve healed some of my issues with my family, with my relationships. Today I’m sober but I don’t know about tomorrow! One day at a time, right?”

The Rolling Stones have announced their “No Filter” tour of Europe, which is the band’s first European tour since 2014. The tour of arenas and stadiums begins in Hamburg, Germany on September 9 and wraps with a two-night stand in Paris on October 19 and 22.

Snoop Dogg will open the west coast leg of Linkin Park‘s upcoming One More Light tour this October. Snoop will open six dates in Seattle, Vancouver and throughout California. Linkin Park and Snoop Dogg both release new albums on Friday, May 19.
