After a mysterious teaser video yesterday, Radiohead has announced a deluxe 20th anniversary reissue of their seminal 1997 album OK Computer. Titled OKNOTOK 1997-2017, it includes a re-mastered version of the record, along with three previously unreleased tracks and eight b-sides. The deluxe edition will be released as a 2-disc set, on vinyl, digitally and in a larger box set compiling the CDs, vinyl, a hardcover book, a notebook and a cassette mix tape of tracks from the OK Computer sessions and demos. It all arrives on June 23, days before the official 20th anniversary of OK Computer’s release.
Beyoncé will release a collector’s edition box set of her 2016 smash album Lemonade. Titled How to Make Lemonade, it includes a 600-page hardcover book of photos, writings from the singer and handwritten lyrics and poetry. Also in the box set is the first-ever vinyl pressing of Lemonade, though it will also be released as its own standalone LP.
Janet Jackson will resume her postponed tour this fall. Last year, the singer postponed her world tour when to have her baby. Jackson said in a video on her website that the tour is now called the State of the World tour and will kick off in Lafayette, LA on September 7. The trek will make 56 stops this fall and wind up in Atlanta on December 17.
Big Sean and Noah Cyrus have been announced as performers for the MTV Movie & TV Awards. J. Balvin, Pitbull and Camila Cabello will team up to perform their Fate of the Furious soundtrack single “Hey Ma” as well. The MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday, May 7.
