The 2018 People’s Choice Awards were handed on Sunday night. In the music categories, Shawn Mendes was named Male Artist of 2018, Nicki Minaj won as Female Artist of 2018 and BTS were honored as Group on 2018. Minaj’s Queen was named Album of 2018 and “Idol” by BTS was Song of 2018. “Idol” also won for Music Video of 2018 and BTS were named Social Celebrity of 2018. Taylor Swift‘s reputation tour won as Concert Tour of 2018. Harry Styles was named Style Star of 2018, naturally.
The tracklist for the Creed II soundtrack has been revealed. The album is executive produced and curated by Mike Will Made-It and features contributions from Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Pharrell, Kendrick Lamar, Vince Staples, Nas, Rae Sremmurd and many others, including Creed II co-star Tessa Thompson, who plays a singer in the film. Creed II will be in theaters on November 21.
Keith Richards has signed a new worldwide deal to bring his solo recordings catalog to BMG. The agreement now brings together Richards’ 1978 debut solo single and four solo albums from 1988-2010, alongside his publishing that BMG has represented since 2013. BMG CEO Hartwig Masuch commented, “It has been a pleasure to build a relationship with Keith and his exceptional team over the past five years. It is a real honor now to extend that relationship even further to work with his classic solo releases.” Richards added, “Looking forward to working with Hartwig Masuch and everyone at BMG.”
Singer-songwriter Dido will return next year with Still On My Mind, her first new record in five years. It arrives on March 8. Additionally, she will embark on her first full tour in 15 years, coming to Europe, the UK and North America next May and June.
