Nicki Minaj has revealed that she will release a pair of brand new songs this Thursday: “Barbie Tingz” & “Chun-Li.” Both tracks will arrive at 10am PT on April 12. Artwork for each track was unveiled on her Twitter account this afternoon.
Gwen Stefani has announced her “Just a Girl” Las Vegas residency, playing a series of dates in June, July and December of 2018 and February and March of 2019 at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort. In a statement, the singer said, “To be able to do a show in Vegas is such an incredible honor. Growing up in Anaheim, California, I could never have imagined one day having my own Vegas residency. I have been so fortunate to tour throughout my career, but to create a show for Vegas is something I’ve never experienced and I can’t wait.”
This year’s Bonnaroo “superjam” will celebrate the late Tom Petty. Dubbed “Into the Great Wide Open,” an all-star cast of performers from the festival will team up to play songs from Petty’s career. Led by musical directors Patrick Hallahan (My Morning Jacket) and Craig Pfunder (VHS or Beta), “Into the Great Wide Open – A Superjam Celebrating the Music of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers” will see performances from special guests including Sheryl Crow, Sameer Gadhia (Young the Giant), Amelia Meath (Sylvan Esso), David Shaw (The Revivalists), Moon Taxi, Vanessa Carlton, Langhorne Slim, Japanese Breakfast and many others.
5 Seconds of Summer will release their third studio album, Youngblood, on June 22 via Capitol Records. The group just kicked off a sold out North American club tour but will be back on the road this summer and fall with a larger trek, beginning in Toronto on August 27 and running up to October 12 in Los Angeles.
311 & The Offspring will head out on a co-headlining summer tour beginning in Mountain View, CA on July 25 and wrapping up in Wichita, KS on September 9. Gym Class Heroes are on board as the opener.
