The lineup for Atlanta’s annual Music Midtown festival has been revealed. The two-day event will take place in Piedmont Park from September 17-18. Among the many acts on board for the festival are Twenty One Pilots, Beck, The Killers, The Lumineers, CHVRCHES, Kesha, Big Boi, James Bay, G-Easy and Alabama Shakes.
Drake has cancelled all meet and greet VIP packages for his upcoming Summer Sixteen tour. Sources tell People that fans who bought the packages have been told they are canceled due to “scheduling issues” and will be refunded. Some are speculating that the cancellations may be due to the tragic shooting of Christina Grimmie earlier this month which she was signing autographs for fans.
Chance the Rapper has announced his Magnificent Coloring World Tour, in support of his recent album Coloring Book. After playing a handful of summer festivals, Chance’s headlining tour officially begins in San Diego on September 15 and runs up to October 21 in San Francisco.
Fetty Wap, T.I., Young Thug, Rick Ross, Ty Dolla $ign, Bun B and Metro Boomin will all perform at the first annual Outta This World concert. Billboard reports the new festival will take place at the Toyota Center in Houston on August 18.
Tool/A Perfect Circle singer Maynard James Keenan will release his authorized biography this fall. Titled A Perfect Union of Contrary Things, the book will be out November 8 and was written by his longtime friend, Sarah Jensen.
