Muse has announced their Simulation Theory world tour, in support of the Brit-rockers’ new album, arriving this Friday. The North American leg begins in Houston on February 22, with dates announced up to April 10 in Boston. Muse will head overseas to play Europe and the UK in May, June and July. More dates for the Simulation Theory world tour will be announced soon.
Classical singer Andrea Bocelli has earned his first-ever #1 album with Si, which debuts atop the latest Billboard 200 chart. The Italian musician earned 126,000 equivalent album units, 123,000 of which were in album sales. Billboard notes he has landed two #2 albums throughout his 20+ year career on the charts but never made it to the top. Si includes collaborations with Ed Sheeran, Josh Groban and Dua Lipa, among others.
Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper‘s soundtrack for A Star is Born moves back one place to #2, followed by former YouTube star Joji with BALLADS 1 debuting at #3. Rapper Tory Lanez earns the #4 slot with his latest release Love Me Now? The rest of the top ten is filled out by Lil Wayne (#5), Lil Baby & Gunna (#6), Drake (#7), Future & Juice WRLD (#8), Travis Scott (#9) and Post Malone (#10).
Camila Cabello won big at Sunday’s MTV Europe Music Awards, handed out in Bilbao, Spain, earning Best Artist, Best Video, Best Song and Best U.S. Act. Nicki Minaj won for Best Look and Best Hip-Hop Artist, while also performing “Good Form” to kick off the show before being joined by Little Mix for “Woman Like Me,” which Nicki appears on. Dua Lipa was named Best Pop Artist and Cardi B won as Best New Artist. Shawn Mendes was dubbed Best Live Artist, with 5 Seconds of Summer, Panic! at the Disco, Alessia Cara, BTS and Marshmello all winning EMAs as well.
Ozzy Osbourne has added new North American dates for 2019 to his “No More Tour 2” trek. Megadeth will open all dates. The new leg of Ozzy’s tour begins in Atlanta on May 29 with shows up to July 29 in Los Angeles. Ozzy will play Europe, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Japan in January, February and March of the new year.
