MTV has announced the first round of performers for its 2017 Video Music Awards. The lineup includes Ed Sheeran, Fifth Harmony, Lorde, The Weeknd, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Miley Cyrus and Shawn Mendes. Katy Perry will host the awards show and perform as well. The VMAs will be handed out on August 27 live from The Forum in Inglewood, CA.
Miley Cyrus has also announced her anticipated new record will be titled Younger Now. It’ll be out September 29 and likely include her recent single “Malibu.”
Big Boi will hit the road next month on his “Daddy Fat Saxxx: Sack 1 Tour.” The trek begins in Chicago at the North Coast Music Festival on September 2 and includes a handful of other festival appearances before wrapping up in Nashville on September 24.
