John Legend
Congratulations to John Legend, who won an Emmy over the weekend for the recent TV production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Legend now joins the ranks of EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar & Tony) winners. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice also won Emmys for Jesus Christ Superstar, which means they are both added to the EGOT list as well. Legend is the youngest individual to collect in all four EGOT categories as well.
The 1975 have announced details about their upcoming album A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships. Due out November 30, the album features 15 new tracks. The British band also announced a 10-date tour of the UK and Ireland, set for January of 2019.
