Guns N’ Roses has announced a new run of 15 North American concerts later this year, as their “Not In This Lifetime” tour rolls on. The Rockers have added a show in Little Rock on August 5 to their summer tour, with a new leg of fall tour dates as well. This run begins in Philadelphia on October 8 and runs up to a two-night stand in Los Angeles on November 24 and 25. Additionally, GNR has announced an eclectic mix of opening acts for their summer stadium tour: ZZ Top, Deftones, Sturgill Simpson, Royal Blood, Live and Our Lady Peace.
Lana Del Rey confirmed on Twitter that her new album Lust for Life will be released on July 21. The singer has released a handful of songs and videos in advance of the record, including the title track, which is a collaboration with The Weeknd.
Nicki Minaj will perform as part of the first-ever NBA Awards, set for June 26. The awards show will be hosted by her longtime pal Drake. The NBA Awards will honor the basketball league’s top performers in the 2016-2017 season.
Vince Staples and Danny Brown have been announced as the openers for Gorillaz‘s upcoming North American tour. Both artists appear on the new record Humanz. The Gorillaz North American tour begins in Chicago on July 8, but the cartoon band have dates set all around the world for both headlining shows and festivals until the end of the year.
Venerable Modern Rocker KROQ/Los Angeles is presenting the inaugural High & Low Festival in San Bernardino, CA this September. The event is headlined by Brand New, Death Cab for Cutie, Tegan and Sara and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. The festival will take place on September 9 at the NOS Event Center.
