Additional artists have been announced to play at next month’s Grammy Awards. Red Hot Chili Peppers and Post Malone will team up for a performance at the show. Miley Cyrus, Brandi Carlile and H.E.R. have all been added to the lineup as well. The 61st Grammy Awards air Sunday, February 10 on CBS.
Weezer surprised fans overnight by releasing The Teal Album, an all-covers record that includes their 2018 hit cover of Toto‘s “Africa.” The 10-song collection precedes The Black Album, due out March 1. Weezer and Pixies will hit the road together again this spring, starting in Louisville on March 8.
The lineup for the 2019 edition of Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Festival has been unveiled. Running from May 3-5, it is led by Beck, Incubus and Tears for Fears on Night 1. Cage the Elephant, Gary Clark Jr. and Interpol top the bill on Night 2 and Night 3 features Tame Impala, Foals and Maggie Rogers. The annual event will take place in Atlanta’s Central Park.
Singer-songwriter Jenny Lewis will release her fourth solo record, On the Line, on March 22 via Warner Bros. Lead single “Red Bull & Hennessy” debuted on Wednesday and features Ringo Starr, Ryan Adams and Don Was performing on the track. Lewis will hit the road this spring on a series of headlining dates, as well as a handful of shows opening for Death Cab for Cutie.
Indie rockers Vampire Weekend have announced their fourth album, Father of the Bride, will be released in April or May. The band’s new single “Harmony Hill,” their first in six years, arrived this morning, along with another new track titled “2021.”
