DJ Khaled has been named the host of the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards for the second year in a row. In a press release, Khaled said, “I am so excited to host the BET Hip Hop Awards for a second year. This is such an iconic show that highlights the hustle of hip hop artists in the industry. It is a huge honor to be a part of a night that pays homage to some of the greatest talent of our generation and I’m looking forward to the amazing performances and tributes. You know I’ll be bringing the cloth talk and the keys — Hip Hop Awards 2017 is going to be major!” DJ Khaled is also up for nine awards at the event, which will happen in Miami on October 6 and air October 10 on the network.

Yesterday in New York City, James Arthur and the Columbia Records team got together to celebrate 3X platinum success of his hit debut single “Say You Won’t Let Go.”

Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age will team up for a South American tour early in 2018. The rockers will play stadiums in Brazil and Argentina next February and March, hitting Rio de Janero, Sao Paulo, Curitiba, Porto Alegre and Buenos Aires. The bands will team up much sooner, as part of the Foos’ massive CAL JAM 17 festival in San Bernardino on October 7.
