Coldplay has announced a 2017 North American tour, playing 18 stadium and arena dates next August, September and October. The new round of dates begin at New York’s MetLife Stadium on August 1, with a dozen shows in August, then picks up with six more dates on the west coast and in Canada starting September 23 in Seattle. Earlier this week, the band announced 13 European stadium dates for June and July of 2017.

Alicia Keys has announced her new album is titled Here and will arrive on November 4. It is the singer’s first new record in four years. Keys also has released the lead single, “Blended Family (What You Do For Love),” which features A$AP Rocky. On Instagram, Keys wrote, “‘m so excited for you to hear this song. It means so much to me and our whole family. The understanding, compassion and support we’ve found is a powerful testament to the healing that comes when we choose love. Especially for the kids… the most important part of our lives.”

Lady Gaga will return to Saturday Night Live later this month as the musical guest on the October 22 episode. It will be her third appearance on SNL. Tom Hanks will be hosting the show for his ninth time.

John Legend has released a new single, titled “Love Me Now,” off his upcoming record Darkness & Light. The album does not have a date yet, but in a Facebook Live appearance Thursday night promised it would arrive by the end of the year. Legend revealed that Darkness & Light features appearances from Chance the Rapper, Blake Mills, Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes, Miguel and Kwasmi Washington.

Mary J. Blige will also have a new record out by the end of 2016, titled Strength of a Woman. The album doesn’t have a release date yet but lead single “Thick of It” has arrived. In a statement, Blige (who co-wrote the song with Jazmine Sullivan) says, “This song is so personal it’s almost painful to let out. I don’t hold back though. It’s not who I am and there’s no way I am going to start changing now. We all deal with love and the emotions that we get tangled up in, and we gotta survive, grow and remain honest to our best selves.”

Soundgarden will release a 25th anniversary edition of their classic album Badmotorfinger on November 18. The album is available in a limited edition 7-disc Super Deluxe Edition, a 28 track 2-CD Deluxe Edition, a single CD edition and a 2-LP, 180-gram audiophile black vinyl edition  As a special option, the 2-LP vinyl will also be available in metallic silver color vinyl for 1,000 lucky fans exclusively online.
