Cage The Elephant have announced Live & Unpeeled, The Acoustic Tour, a series of rare acoustic shows featuring a string quartet. Guitarist Brad Shultz said in a statement, “After our recent acoustic performance at the Bridge School Benefit, we wanted to share this intimate experience with our fans and take it on the road. We plan to add in a string quartet to make it really cool.” The brief tour begins in Escondido, CA on April 10 and winds up in Nashville on April 30. Cage the Elephant have a number of festival dates in Europe and North America this spring and summer as well.
Roger Waters is teasing music from his first solo record in almost 25 years. The Pink Floyd member has released a clip from Is This the Life We Really Want?, which arrives on May 19. Waters will also hit the road this year for an extensive tour playing a mix of Pink Floyd classics and solo material.
