Bruce Springsteen‘s upcoming “Springsteen on Broadway” run of concerts sold out immediately this morning, so an additional 10 weeks of concerts have been added. The Boss’s residency will now through February 3, 2018. “Springsteen on Broadway” kicks off October 3.
U2 have begun rolling out their long-awaited new album Songs of Experience. Today the Rock Hall of Famers released a live video for a new song titled “The Blackout.” However, the proper lead single is titled “You’re the Best Thing About Me” and will be released on September 6. U2 will announce all the details about Songs of Experience that day as well. It is the follow-up and companion to 2014’s Songs of Innocence.
Metallica has announced a massive box set celebrating the 30th anniversary of their album Master of Puppets (which was actually last year). The set will be out November 10 via the band’s Blackened Recordings label and includes a newly remastered edition of the album, with a mix of demos, alternative mixes, live recordings and interviews. It also will feature a 108-page hardcover book, a copy of Jason Newsted‘s demo tape for joining the band, a cassette tape, two DVDs, buttons, a lithograph and much more.
