Beck has been announced as the opener for U2‘s new round of dates on their tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Joshua Tree. He is on board for seven dates in September in Detroit, Buffalo, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Kansas City, St. Louis and San Diego.

Foo Fighters will be the first-ever band to play a new venue in Washington, D.C. The rockers will perform at The Anthem on October 12. Dave Grohl has longtime roots in the D.C. area, having grown up in Northern Virginia. According to Billboard, The Anthem holds up to 6,000 people, certainly making it an underplay for the Foos.
