Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Noel Gallagher have been announced among the headline acts for the BBC‘s The Biggest Weekend music festival. The event will take place in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland from May 25-28. Glastonbury Festival is skipping 2018 and The Biggest Weekend is expected to fill its slot as one of the biggest UK music festivals. Beck, Snow Patrol and Courtney Barnett are among the handful of artists announced so far.
In addition to Eminem‘s many North American festival appearances this year, he will be vising Europe this summer for a brief tour. Em will play a handful of festivals as well in Europe starting at the Obos Oslo Sommertime Festival in Norway on June 30 and winding up with a two-night stand in London at Twickenham Stadium on July 14 and 15.
Paul Simon says he will perform his final concert this summer at London’s Hyde Park. The legendary singer-songwriter will be joined by James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt for his “farewell performance” on July 15, with more supporting acts to be announced.
