If you were going to lead an advocacy movement, what would you be advocating for?

Jon Zellner, iHeartMedia: There are too many to mention but here are five of the ones that need attention: Gun control reform, Climate change education, Criminal justice reform, The Trevor Project and LGBTQ organizations, Children’s Miracle Network.

Guy Zapoleon, Zapoleon Consulting: A voter advocacy movement to ensure people could vote, helping to get people registered and helping to get people to the polls. There actually are hundreds of thousands of votes that are thrown out every election because they aren’t properly filled out and every single vote is absolutely critical in 2022 and 2024. This upcoming election could mean a change in leadership in the House and Senate and that would begin the drift away from our democracy toward authoritarianism, so voting is critical!

Randi West, WRMF: Three-day work weeks.

Bob Patrick, WXLK: Complete upheaval of the online ticket buying system! I can charge 200x above face value for a ticket online without consequences, yet if I try to do it outside a stadium or arena, I can get arrested. Makes no sense to me.

Java Joel, WHBC: I’d be an advocate for rolling back the Telecommunications Act Of 1996.

Lee Abrams, mediavisions: Space exploration.

R Dub!, Z90/Magic 92.5: Cargo shorts wearers.

Heather Deluca, WSJO: Equal pay in the workplace for women. Oh, and also making the day after Super Bowl a national holiday.

Rich Davis, KDWB: Four-day work week. Let’s go! The opportunity to have a three-day weekend every week would be pretty spectacular.

Fish, WKRZ: Equal pay across the board.

Jana Sutter, WXXL: A movement for accessible cancer screening.

Buster Satterfield, WIOQ: For those who chew with their mouth open. They should be banned for life!

Orlando, WLLD: I’d advocate for foster kids. The fact that a bottle of Boones Farm and a motel room didn’t strike a love affair doesn’t mean the kids get discarded and forgotten.

Adam Rivers, WKCI: More vacation time!

Bartel. WKTU: 100 percent equality for all!

Jonathan Shuford, WRVW: Four-day work weeks and three-day weekends across the board.

Dom Theodore, Radio Animal Media Strategies: I’ve actually been involved with advocacy for autistic adults over the last several years. Having an autistic son, I know firsthand the challenges and opportunities they face.

Chris Michaels, FM100: The end of inflation!

Mike O’Donnell, WKRZ: I would be advocating for people to help the poor…in a heartbeat!

Toby Knapp, WASH: All Creatives who create on-air, online, in video, via podcast, via written blog, in Metaverse, Virtual and in Real Life… including sonic imaging and sound design are classified as Creatives, Content Creators or Artists… and are covered Nationally – AND GLOBALLY – by SAG-AFTRA… regardless of where they create said content or how it is disseminated to the engaged who consume it. Because right now, in this game, we have the “haves” and we have the “have nots” And some are compensated for what they create no matter where it’s distributed for consumption… and those who don’t. And that’s just not fair. The time has come. That time is now. Did I say that out loud? Well, I’ll say it louder for those in the back… if you want, but I’d rather not shout.

Jammer, WEZB: To have Doja Cat put out a new song ever week!

Rick Vaughn, KENZ: Water conservation. It’s going to be a real problem real fast. Phoenix is already in trouble. All these golf courses in this entire region, you better golf them now because in two years they’ll be shut down unless people start taking this problem more seriously.

Valentine, WBHT: A hybrid work week schedule. Something more flexible so we’re not sitting in the office all-day, every day. We can do our business and make calls from anywhere these days, why not be more relaxed with that policy.

Next Week’s Question Of The Week:
