In honor of Thanksgiving, what are you most thankful for this year both professionally and personally?

R Dub! Z90: One of the things I’m most thankful for is not having to work a real job my whole life…what we do is so much fun, and I’m just so grateful every day that I’m not punching a clock somewhere that sucks!

Matt Johnson, KSLZ: Professionally I’m thankful to be back at iHeart after a 13-year absence, and personally I’m thankful that my wife and kids like St. Louis.

Jonathan Shuford, WRVW: Personally, I’m thankful for having a happy and healthy child, and professionally I’m thankful that 2019 hopefully will have better music.

Bob Patrick, WXLK: Thankful to still be able to do what I absolutely love for a small, locally owned company that gives us every opportunity to be a part of the community. Personally, Turkey of the Year is Keith Rothschild.

Chris Michaels, FM100: My family, and working for a great company!

Raphael Opida, WIOQ: Professionally, I’m most thankful for having a steady career (especially on a legendary station like Q102 Philly). Personally, I am most thankful for my family, friends, health, and Ariana Grande for “thank u, next.”

Kevin Kash, WIYY: Getting to know and work with some of the coolest humans anywhere in radio. At home, it’s Mrs. Kash and The Kash Kids. (I think I just made us a band. I’d be one of the kids.)

Twisted Todd, WTPT: I am so thankful for my son who will be a year old next month. And thankful for a job that allows me to be flexible so that I can spend my mornings with him then work on into the night while he sleeps.

Jason Squires, KFRR: The thanksgiving tradition, Starrcad…I mean Survivor Series.

 Java Joel, WAKS: Most thankful for my wonderful family. Professionally, thankful for being able to do what I’ve wanted to do since I was six years old. Truly livin’ the dream. Lots of hard work, but so worth it.

Brian Michel, iHeartMedia / Atlanta: Professionally, most definitely the opportunities from podcast to social and of course our on-air signals, there’s never been more possibilities to distribute audio and content and build brands. Personally, it’s always my family. Getting to come home to them every day is the best part of life.

Brian Mack, WXXL: Professionally, the amazing people and places I’ve fallen in love with over the last 15 years. Personally. my family and my fiancé, Yadia.

Jon Zellner, iHeartMedia: Personally, my wife Patty for putting up with me for 30 years and my kids for making me more and more proud every day. Professionally, I’m just thankful to have the office next to Marc Chase…he completes me.

Derrick “DC” Cole, WAEB: Professionally, I’m just thankful I get paid to do this! Much better than working at the mall. Personally, I am thankful for my first ever baby which will be here in a month.

Rod Phillips, iHeartMedia: Easy stuff…thankful for this iHeart gig they let me do, for Nashville and for my iHeartCountry family. And even more thankful for family and friends like never before (which is my reminder to always work on life balance – not easy to do).

 Randi West, WMTX: I’m thankful for professional and personal friendships. Be nice to people. You never know what is going on with them.
