What are going to be the hot giveaway items this holiday season?
Frankie V, KSSX/KHTS: Staycations!! Lots of people want a “vacation” but not comfy to travel. Bartel, WKTU: Giveaway codes for virtual concerts or special events.
Valentine, WBHT: I think anything along the line of electronics that will keep you entertained in the house through the winter we’re about to endure. The days of giving away fun trips and concert tickets have not come back yet, not happening this winter. Kobe, WZNE: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will be big items this year.

Buster Satterfield, Q102: JOBS!!
Randi West, WRMF: Cash will be king! Drew Heyman, Y100: I’m hearing lots of handmade or homemade gift this year. It’s been so crazy. Orlando, WLLD: Definitely the PS5, many are getting their 5G on, in the phone department, and then there are creative masks. THOSE will be needed, especially down here in FLORIDA! Mikey V, Kiss 108: Backpacks with tech stuff. Live stream event invites. Kobe, WZNE: Borat! Butter Fingers, Peanut M&M’s, York Peppermint Patties.
Heather Deluca, WSJO: This year it’s going to be all about tech, and how we can help improve the virtual/at-home work/school experiences for families. Chromebooks, new iPhone 12, Smart Speakers, those will be the winners. |
Jana Sutter, WXXL: CASH! All the cash! Plus, we.ve had luck with gift cards to local restaurants for take-out too! Mike “OD” O’Donnell, WKRZ: The new Xbox for sure, you can’t go wrong with electronics, and this year cash/gift cards will be great ones as well. Jonathan Shuford, WRVW: Anyone who gets a PS5 is going to be sitting on a goldmine! Other than that, it’s going to be more of the same from this year. If you can give people the basics like big grocery gift-cards, cash and essential like that, they will be bigger than any gadget or gaming device you can giveaway.
Matt “MJ” Johnson, matthot1079@hotmail.com: It’s still tough out there right now, so I think any kind of gift card would be eagerly received by anyone. |
