What is one part of your everyday routine that you’d be better off without?
Buster, WIOQ: Sleeping, so I had more time to get stuff done!
Mike O’Donnell, WKRZ: The minutia. I would love to not have to deal with all the stuff that does not move the needle as a programmer. It detracts time away from doing several other things that really do move the needle, especially spending quality time with the creative people that make the station resonate. Jana Sutter, WXXL: Checking my phone first thing in the morning. I’m so much more productive when I put myself first. That phone pulls you right into work. Jon Zellner, iHeartMedia: Probably the quantity of food I’m consuming daily. Brian Mack, iHeartMedia: Ironically, opening social media. But it’s kind of important for my job. Jeff Hurley, iHeartMedia: Excessive coffee consumption. I cut back, and got rid of the sugar, but I could probably do with one less cup a day. |
Toby Knapp, WASH: Laundry, dishes, and other forms of adulting. Java Joel, WHBC: I’d be better off financially without the daily 73-mile one-way commute from Cleveland to Canton. Derrick Cole, WAEB: Man, if it wasn’t for having to make money to support my three children, I’d probably say that pesky work thing. (Though, I do enjoy what I do!) Big Rob, KKPL/KMAX: Eating junk food… OH, and meetings. Mostly meetings. Jeremy Rice, WXXL: That’s a loaded question! I promised myself to put away the laptop after 10pm
Dom Theodore, Radio Animal Media Strategies: Looking at my phone immediately after waking up. It’s a necessary evil, but not always a great start to the day. |
Valentine, WBHT: Aside from making my bed every day? I’d say pointless meetings or zoom meetings that could have been handled in a simple email. Jonathan Shuford, WRVW: I’d probably be better off without needing a cup of coffee every morning. It would be a lot better for my health. Chris Michaels, FM100: Does being stuck in traffic count?
Erik Bradley, B96: Meetings that should have been in an email.
