Which newer artists have emerged as contributing driving forces of music in Pop culture?

Adam Rivers, WKCI / WKSS: Tate McRae has built a solid foundation over the years and the hits are there now. There are a lot of people who are really passionate about SZA. And, Olivia Rodrigo has really connected with a fanbase that has helped her to emerge as a force.

Tommy Chuck, WFLZ: Tate McRae, Sabrina Carpenter, Jelly Roll.

Rich Davis, KDWB: Tate McRae and Sabrina Carpenter for sure. They’re both close to A artists, especially Tate. Benson Boone and Noah Kahan, those guys are on fire.

Toby Knapp, WASH: Taylor Swift comes to mind, and I see and hear Jelly Roll as emerging into this area, too. What they’re adding to life’s conversation is beyond music, and that’s a good thing.

Jammer, WEZB: SZA, Sabrina Carpenter, Benson Boone and Teddy Swims.

Randi West, WRMF: Billie Eilish.

Jonathan Shuford, WRVW: Noah Kahan isn’t really a “newer artist” but his rise into the pop culture zeitgeist has had a TON of influence on where things are right now. As far as newer artists, I think Benson Boone, Chappell Roan, and Gracie Abrams are all well on their way to re-defining the direction of pop culture.

Buster, WIOQ: Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat, Morgan Wallen and Jelly Roll.

 

Jeff Hurley, iHeartMedia: Billie Eilish. You can see her influence on everything from music to fashion.

Rick Vaughn, KENZ: Sabrina Carpenter.

Bob Patrick, WXLK: Olivia Rodrigo who has huge social media presence. Dua Lipa, Jack Harlow.

Jon Zellner, iHeartMedia: Benson Boone, Ice Spice, Noah Kahan, Victoria Monet.

Erik Bradley, B96: Sabrina Carpenter, Morgan Wallen, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Parker McCollum.

Danny Ocean, WSBG: Without Question: SZA, Post Malone, Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lupa, Jelly Roll.

Heather Deluca, WSJO: Billie Eilish. She’s broken the mold. And who wins two Oscars by the age of 22?
