In the spirit of spring cleaning, what are you ready to (figuratively) throw out from the past 12 months?

Orlando, WLLD: Masks, hand sanitizer and 6ft distance stickers. Josh Wolff, WAEB: All of the negative attitudes about the pandemic. Toby Knapp, WASH: Fear and insecurity about what people think about how I choose – and have chosen – to live my life during this pandemic. I’ve second-guessed some of my decisions to live my life, traveling, exploring new places, etc. because of how I thought others would view my choices, and, yes, some have been judgmental. So, I’m tossing that in the bonfire of life and watching it burn. Because it’s MY life. These are MY choices. I’m making them for me and nobody else. Living in fear is no way to live life and so, I’m throwing it out and moving forward… by moving on.

Fish, WKRZ: The deep division within our country, and the phrase “cancel culture,” cut it out you don’t even know why you’re canceling things anymore. Jonathan Shuford, WRVW: I think we can throw out the phrase, “in these unprecedented times” forever, and let’s throw out “cancel culture” while we’re at it. Mike McVay, McVay Media: I’d like to empty the storage unit that I rented in 2000. It’s filled mostly with old McVay Media files, a snow blower I haven’t used in twenty years, a carrier that attached to an SUV or Van, and an old couch that we’ve threatened to throw out for years. Drew Heyman, WHYI: Slow tempo songs. Time to go up the tempo.
Kobe, WZNE: “New normal” and eventually (maybe 18 months down the line) all of these facemasks. Buzz Knight, Buzz Knight Media: Unprecedented, New Normal…Ba Bye!

Rich Davis, KDWB: Everything and anything that has to do with the pandemic. I can’t wait to get rid of all of that stuff!
Justin Chase, Beasley Media Group: Virtual meetings. I prefer in-person work and collaboration rather than the virtual meetings. It has a place, but you miss out on a lot of opportunities when people aren’t together collaborating.
Valentine, WBHT: The mindset of, we’re in a pandemic so we can be a little more lax. We need to get that whole thought process out of our minds. Don’t use the pandemic as an excuse not to do something. Let the ideas flow, be creative, go that extra mile. We need to evolve, get stuff done, and get better.
Joe Breezy, WNFN: Zoom’s and virtual events! Obviously, we’re doing what we need to and we’re getting the job done, but I think we all miss live events and people! That’s where the magic happens!
Jeff Hurley, iHeartMedia: The word virtual. I’m sick of virtual meetings, virtual seminars, virtual summits, virtual everything. It was the only way to do things for the past year…but I’m ready to see you all in person again!
Randi West, WRMF: Fighting. It really encompasses everything I’m against on any topic, person, or the pandemic. I often think about 9-11 and how the one good thing was it brought back patriotism and brought people together. This time we weren’t attacked by an organization but an infection that was no fault of our own yet divided us in so many ways.
Joey Brooks, WKSS: Zoom meetings. I know they have to continue under the circumstances, but I can’t wait for in-person to return.
Mark Adams, KYLD & KIOI: There’s a particularly violent and stubbornly recalcitrant poltergeist that’s been haunting the fourth floor and the adjacent foyer for the past year we’d certainly like to see gone. To date, nothing has worked. Cleansings, blessings, geomancy, séances, and the like, all for naught. I’d hate to take the extreme step of having to remove the many cursed artifacts scattered about the ancestral manse, but alas, that may prove necessary.Next Week’s Question Of The Week:
