Who are your must follows on social media, and what do you primarily use social media for?

Orlando Davis, WLLD: Must follows are: @XXL, @KevonStage @thedailyshow @maverickcitymusic and @GirlsInYogaPant (for research). I use social media as an extension of myself.

Adam Rivers, WKCI: I would say Adam Schefter but he blocked me at the beginning of Twitter. Skip Bayless, the National Park Service. For radio, Kiis 1065 from Sydney. I use social media for most everything at this point.

Rich Davis, KDWB: I follow a bunch of radio stations because I’m a radio-geek and I want to see what everybody’s doing. I also follow some artists and a lot of financial news. During the football season I use social media it a lot. I also use it to keep up on my talent here, and my Custom talent across the country.

Erik Bradley, WBBM: My must follows are mainly for all things UNC, Atlanta Braves, Dallas Cowboys, etc. primarily sports….and I use mostly for breaking news – sports, news, weather issues, etc.

Jon Zellner, iHeartMedia: The only “must follows” are my wife, my kids, and some close friends. Because it turns out to be quite the time suck, I’ve been trying to cut down a little and be more “present” whenever possible.

Toby Knapp, WASH: Must Follow: ShittyPD and Shitty Radio Jock. Oh and Mike Klein but if you follow ShittyPD or Shitty Radio Jock it may or may not be him allegedly or not. Or Don Coddington. What do I use social media for: Talking crap about things and stirring the pot.

Joey Brooks, WKSS: I enjoy following Gary Vaynerchuk always like what he has to say. I also like Tyson Fury the boxer. I’m big-time into him, he turned his life around, good dude. And my beloved Boston Bruins, and the NHL in general.

Rick Vaughn, KENZ: Dua Lipa for sure. News from Twitter, Facebook for my radio stations only, Instagram for just about everything.

Kobe, WUVA: Hypebeast for current trends in Pop Culture. Gary Vaynerchuk for sure. Big morning show brands like Elvis Duran and other shows that I believe to be major influencers.

Matt Johnson, WPLW: I use Twitter for information and it’s a must for me for real-time sports, and Instagram for inspiration.

Guy Zapoleon, Zapoleon Consulting: I literally follow everyone with something intelligent to say on social media, pop culture, music, media, sports, music charts and politics, so I get a flood of information and data 24/7. Two people whose insights I generally love are Heather Cox Richardson and Bob Lefsetz. For music and media: Ross on Radio Coleman Insights and Jacobs Media.

Lee Abrams mediavisions: Strictly for connecting with people through LinkedIn and Facebook. Trying not to add to the gross misinformation and useless arguments.

Josh Wolff, WAEB: I love to follow our iHeart sister stations to check out what other ideas we can replicate. You have to pay attention to every platform, and you have to be where your audience is.

Bob Patrick, WXLK: @super70sports it features lots of classic sports stuff. I use socials mostly for work purposes but I’m also entertained by some of the shenanigans on twitter.
