At the mid-term point of the year, what are your leading candidates for:
Artist of the Year, Songs of the Year, Most Exciting New Artist?

Fish, WKRZ: Justin Bieber has been the consistent standout so far this year; ‘driver’s license” and “Anyone:” Olivia Rodrigo is dominating right now and that’s pretty exciting! Guy Zapoleon, Zapoleon Consulting: There’s only one choice for both Artist and New Artist and it has to be the phenomenal Olivia Rodrigo! For Song, “Levitating,” which I did my part to bring back from the dead by issuing a red alert when it was dropped by programmers prematurely after peaking on the charts based on streams. I saw when it did get enough spins it was a power (more needed post-Covid) and pushed for folks to put it back into current rotation. Almost everywhere it was put back in, it went to power. Now it’s #1 on the charts!
