Given the summer movie blockbusters that are already out and those on the horizon, which ones are on your “must-see” list this summer?
Jeremy Rice, WBLI: EQ2 could be good, I LOVE Denzel that’s my dude! Gotti could also be cool. Sicario 2 looks intense. Star Wars is overrated zzzzzzzz. I look most forward to the Oscar and art films that come out in December!
Kobi, WNRW/WLGX: The Avengers: Infinity War, Deadpool 2, Ocean’s 8, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Dumbo. JB King, KLUC: I have two young kids…..I usually wait until they are ‘must-see’ On Demand. Alex Tear, Y100: It’s an easy pick for me, Incredibles 2! That’s totally me. I can’t wait for it. I have the first one memorized I’ve seen it so many times. Michael McCoy, WNCI: Back to School, Better Off Dead, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Back to the Future. Fish Boy, WKRZ: You have to see: Deadpool 2 (it’s great!), Avengers Infinity War, and Jurassic World. Bob Patrick, WXLK: Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom although I’ve tempered by expectations. And Tag. Java Joel, WAKS: Incredibles 2 Jeff Hurley, WLAN: I’m not a movie person although I will see Avengers Infinity War at some point this summer. But the hot one in my household is Incredibles 2 which we’re taking our son to see. He’s very excited about it, he’s old enough now and he kind of gets it. Big Rob, KSME: I saw the Ocean’s 8 movie on Friday and really liked it! Looking forward to taking the kids to Incredibles 2 and Hotel Transylvania as well. I don’t get out to too many movies with an almost 2-year-old. |
Mike Klein, WHZT: Deadpool 2!!! The best! R Dub! Z90: One. The Mr. Rogers documentary Won’t You Be My Neighbor? The world needs some Mr. Rogers right about now. Jonathan Reed, WNOK: I really don’t watch movies but Solo: A Star Wars Story and the new Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom look good. Zac Davis, WRVQ: Deadpool 2 (check….stay until the end).
Derrick “DC” Cole, WAEB: Clearly, it’s Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson‘s action-packed thriller Skyscraper coming out July of 2018! #RockLove Gina Gray, WERO: I need to see Deadpool 2, and I saw the trailer for Dumbo today so I want to see that as well. Valentine, WBHT: My favorite so far has been Avengers: Infinity War because I’m a nerd when it comes to movies…any comic book movie. I’m in! Chris Michaels, FM100: I’m terrible with movies. LOL! I don’t ever get to the movies anymore with kids. I usually wait until they hit Redbox to see them. I haven’t seen a movie in theaters in a long time. Matthew Wolfe, WBLI: #FILMSNOB. Jason Squires, KFRR: No Holds Barred. |
Kobe, WWHT: I’ve seen Avengers: Infinity War and it’s great. I still need to see Deadpool 2.
Matt Johnson, KSLZ: I enjoyed Solo despite what a lot of the critics have said. If you didn’t have a ton of expectations and just wanted to go in for a fun summer movie, it was great. Also I’m eager to see A Star is Born with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, that’s going to be great. Heather Deluca, WSJO: I hate to say it, but the new Mission: Impossible: Fallout. Jon Zellner, iHeartMedia: Bohemian Rhapsody, The Darkest Minds, and You Are My Friend starring Tom Hanks playing my childhood hero, Mr. Rogers…can’t wait! Randi West, WMTX: Randi fact: I don’t see movies. I know weird right?! Kid Jay, KGGI: Ocean’s 8 – any movie with crooked chicks – I’m all for it! Kevin Kash, WIYY: Deadpool 2 was great. Avengers: Infinity War was good. Aside from those, I’m interested in the Halloween reboot in the fall. Twisted Todd, WTPT: Infinity War was the big one for me. It’s like the playoffs for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Can’t wait for the championship next year and see how it turns out! |
