Who do you think will be the entertainment newsmakers in 2024?

Orlando Davis, WLLD: Entertainment – Diddy.  Villains always get the headlines. Music – Usher. Super Bowl will set up a great year. Sports – Gambling!  You think the refs are bad THIS season. Watch the money!

Erik Bradley, B96: Justin Timberlake, Usher, Ariana Grande, Ronald Acuna Jr., Caitlyn Clark are the first names that come to mind!

Jonathan Shuford, WRVW: Ariana Grande has to be in there.  Taylor Swift will be until she doesn’t want to be.  Shohei Ohtani going to be one of the biggest names in sports, and Jordan Love is going to lead the Packers to a Super Bowl victory!

Rich Davis, KDWB: Eddie Murphy, Dakota Johnson, Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, Larry David, Dua Lipa.

Valentine, WBHT: Taylor Swift, now that she covers all three, entertainment, music, and sports!

Jammer, WEZB: So hard to predict. Anything can pop at any time. Look at Barbie, who knew?

Bob Patrick, WXLK: Bryce Harper in sports is due to set and break more record. Jelly Roll at Top 40 who also serves as an inspiration to many.

Buster, WIOQ: Ariana Grande‘s new album, Detroit Lions and what will the summer blockbusters be?

Toby Knapp, WASH: Entertainment : Taylor Swift. Who’s gonna stop her?Music: Justin Timberlake. He’s JT.

Sports: Not the Eagles or the Cowboys, that is for certain!

Jeff Hurley

Jeff Hurley, iHeartMedia: I don’t know how, but Taylor Swift will find a way to keep the Eras Tour as magical in 2024 as she did last summer.  Politics is going to poison so many conversations this year, I think people will gravitate towards lighter moments in entertainment.

Brian Mack, iHeartMedia: Hopefully, the NY Mets and Rangers.

Rick Vaughn, KENZ: Anyone who talks crap about a presidential candidate will make the news.

Dom Theodore, Radio Animal Media Strategies: Taylor Swift. It’s her world, we’re just living in it.

Guy Zapoleon, Zapoleon ConsultingAriana Grande will make a lot of noise and the Top 40 format sure needs her. Sadly, more and more tradition will evaporate in the pursuit of big money.  I join fellow UCLA Bruin Bill Walton in mourning the dissolution of the Pac 12 conference (more than a century of great traditions for the West Coast). Yes, it’s a positive money decision for the teams leaving, but UCLA and Washington will struggle after joining the Big 10 and it’s another nail in the coffin of what college athletics used to be. In NFL football, you will see the most head coaching changes since the in 2008 where there was eleven.

Drew Heyman, WHYI: Usher with the Super Bowl show. Justin Timberlake new album.
