How would you assess the Grammy’s overall and what were your performance highlights…and who wins the Super Bowl?
Jon Zellner, iHeartMedia: Very strong show this year. Highlights for me were Tracy Chapman and Luke Combs, Joni Mitchell, Billy Joel, Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish. Taylor, Travis and Patrick will be the big winners on Sunday! Rick Vaughn, KENZ: Easily Tracy Chapman and Luke Combs. I think Olivia sounded great. Chiefs win.
Big Rob, KKPL/KMAX: Grammys was a good show overall! Always some questionable wins and nominees but overall, I enjoyed it. First one I’ve watched from start to finish in years. And KC is the WORST so GO SF! Literally anybody but KC or the Raiders LOL Matt Johnson, WPLW: Olivia Rodrigo was the best with her intense version of “Vampire.” It was a good show and Trevor Noah was a good host. Gotta go with “Big Red” and the Chiefs. Dom Theodore, Radio Animal Media Strategies: How can you not love Jay Z giving us a lecture on how Beyoncé has been short changed? I think Taylor Swift wins the Super Bowl! |
Valentine, WBHT: Decent show, but nothing mind melting. Trevor Noah was a good host. Taylor stole the show with album news, but that’s expected, right? I think Taylor will win the Super Bowl too. Mike O’Donnell, WKRZ: I thought the Luke Combs / Tracy Chapman performance was great! Jana Sutter, WXXL: I thought they were much better than recent years. My standout performances were definitely Tracy Chapman and Luke Combs, I really enjoyed Dua Lipa, and Annie Lennox with Wendy & Lisa, it was a nice tip of the hat to do a Sinead O’Connor song written by Prince. I was happy for Miley Cyrus. The Chiefs! Toby Knapp, WASH: Strong stuff. Subtle reinventions made it worth watching and the overnight numbers prove it. Luke Combs and Tracy Chapman stole the show. Who wins the Super Bowl? Taylor Swift.
Jonathan Shuford, WRVW: Thought it was a really good show this year, much better than in years past. The highlight had to be Luke Combs and Tracy Chapman. I also thought Dua Lipa was great, and Joni Mitchell was really good. Chiefs win! Adam Rivers, WKCI / WKSS: I thought it was excellent especially relative to recent years. “Fast Car” was the performance highlight. San Francisco.

Guy Zapoleon, Zapoleon Consulting: It was the best Grammys in many decades! It felt like an Academy Awards show, classy and with the biggest stars. It moved fast, the performances were amazing especially Tracy Chapman / Luke Combs, Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, and I’ve always loved Joni Mitchell so very happy to see her on stage. Also, the most serving artists won most of the major awards. Love Taylor Swift and hate to see her or her team lose so I’m torn because I’d usually root for the 49ers from my home state.
Heather Deluca, WSJO: Finally, it was a worthwhile Grammy Awards. The balance of performances and awards resulted in an entertaining telecast, IMO. The two standout performances to me both had the SAME feel: Miley Cyrus ‘Flowers’ and Fantasia Barino‘s tribute to Tina Turner. Both were high energy SHOW BUSINESS. I love how Miley did not try to be above the fact that she is a PERFORMER and acted as such. I’m taking the Kansas City Chiefs by 3. Bob Patrick, WXLK: Still too long but not as highbrow or goofy. Tracy Chapman and Luke Combs was a generational performance. Chiefs 27-10. |
