Awards season is upon us, if you could bestow an award to anyone in any field or category you can create, who would be your top recipient?

Buster Satterfield, WIOQ: Best Cash Contest of the Year goes to… Q102’s Big Dollar Energy.

Guy Zapoleon, Zapoleon Consulting: I’d have to give a 2023 Man Of the Year award to the man who won Time Magazine’s Person Of The Year, Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelenskyy. That he’s led his country to fight and withstand the Russian onslaught (with the U.S. and NATO’s help) by evil dictator Vladimir Putin, is just against all odds! We can never forget that he’s the wall between Putin retaking all of the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe (and probably more).

Brian Mack, iHeartMedia: iHeart GOAT goes to Linda Byrd. I’d compare her to Bill Belichick, Scotty Bowman, Dusty Baker, etc. Doesn’t matter where she is or what capacity, whatever she touches seems to magically improve. Not just objective data, but energy as well.

Mikey V, WXKS:  #1 Newcomer in Media: Gianna Gravalese. She’s an important part of The VBros Show. She’s one to watch for sure! Hardest Working Man in in Show Business: Frankie V.

Randi West, WRMF: Nicest musician award: Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20.

Mike O’Donnell, WKRZ: The OD award would have to go to my wife, and she would receive The Most Patience Award because she puts up with my B.S. all the time.

Matt Johnson, WPLW: I would award iHeart EVP Maynard for being #1 in intensity, and I mean that in the most positive of ways.

Rick Vaughn, KENZ: Worst new design of a classic car goes to Ford Motor Co. for the 2023 Mustang.

Toby Knapp, WASH: I’d award the First Annual NAB Agents of Change award to the Ensemble Cast of our iHeartMedia Tech teams, led by Steve Mills, Jeff Littlejohn, Chip Jellison, Kent Terry, James Prather, Andrew Jeffries and everyone who is working with them around the world to create some tech for our talent and programmers which will blow your mind in the very near future. We’re talking about the greatest live and audio content creation toys our industry has ever seen… and I’m lucky and blessed they have let me be in the room with genius while they dream it up and bring it to life.

Bob Patrick, WXLK: Man Crush of the Year: Bryce Harper.

Jonathan Shuford, WRVW: The King of Large Vocabulary Words goes to Mark Adams. He’s basically a walking Scrabble board! It’s impressive.

Dom Theodore, Radio Animal Media Strategies: I’d give the “most inquisitive person of the year” award to Fred Deane for asking such good questions!

Big Rob, KKPL/KMAX: I’d present the “That’s What I’m Takin’ About!” Award to… Bobby Burke! Go birds! SMASH KC!

Rich Davis, KDWB: Tom Brady for officially retiring!

Erik Bradley, B96: I’d put Mariah Carey in the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame!

Orlando Davis, WLLD: I’d call it the Ray of Light Award and it would go to celebs and artists who handle their business and social standing the correct way, while avoiding the incessant bullshit. The first recipients would be Cordae, H.E.R., and Billie Eilish.

Next Week’s Question Of The Week:
